Quarter Two

I choose my "Columns Newspaper AD" as my reflection for Quarter 2 technology. The was about making a fictional newspaper page and then make it in a column form like in any other type of newspaper article.


Its purpose was to learn how to use columns on Microsoft Word and to learn how to write something like a real newspaper creator.

I learned how to use the column key without messing up my newspaper article and how to write like an efficacy type. I also learned how to use the drop cap ability to it look like the letters in story books at the beginning of a chapter which looked really cool to me.

I also liked how we got to talk about anything that we wanted to write about even if it’s competently fiction. I could have learned differently if I did not make a recopy of the paper because I did not like how I wrote the story.

Quarter Three

I choose my "The Wonderful Cheetah" presentation as my reflection for Quarter 3 Technology. The activity was about choosing one of our favorite animals for any biome in the world, and to talk about what that animal eats, it's behavior, and it's natural appearance.

It's purpose was to choose an animal and to go deeply into details about the animal in this case the cheetah and talk about it and present it orally to the class. It also showed us how animals can be different even thought there are the same class species and live in the same area but with different adaption in the wild.

I learned many new things about the cheetah that I thought I would never be in the cheetah's habit. For example, I learned when the cheetah attacks it's prey it starts with the hind legs so the prey would not run away. The Cheetah also likes to close in and eat it's prey quickly so as not to be disturbed by other carnivores. As for the appearance of the Cheetah, King Cheetahs are different then normal Cheetahs because their mane is mostly black dots not yellow and black. There are so many things I learned about the Cheetah that it could full up this whole page!

I could have learned differently by not trying the pictures first and changing the font like Mrs. Bosch said, and get the information about your animal first, and then do the fiddling around with the font and add pictures.

Quarter Three

I choose my "Typing Test Result" as my Technology reflection for Quarter 3. The activty was about have a typing test for a limit of 3 minutes and choosing a topic to write about. After we are done with typing the topic, we then change print our results according to a JPEG file and add it on Blogger.

It's purpose was to help determine how fast we type for normal grade 7th students would be a 95% with a 25 WPM (Words Per Min) and I got 31 WPM with a 91% accuracy.

I really did not learn anything new about typing but it was a good refreshment to typing because i have not had a typing practice in a while.

I could have learned differently by not trying to type too quickly to get a good WPM and focus more on my accuracy.

Quarter Two

I choose my "Tab Key Document" as my reflection for quarter two Technology. The document was based our real life information like what our full name was, how are we, what gender, Hair Color, Eye Color, Nationality or where we are from, If we have a an older or younger sibling, our parents names, our favorite subject, our favorite colors, and of course our favorite T.V. shows.

Underneath that was our future data such as our job in the future, if we will be married, if we will have children, and where we would wanna live when we grow up.

I learned how to properly use the tab key to Aline pieces of information or data in a neat way. It's purpose was to formally distribute pieces of information in a line.

I could have done it differently by not continually pressing the tab so I could have done it right the first time.
