Quarter Four

The final sport that we did was basketball. Basketball is a very productive sport that requires a plethora of endurance and muscle strength in order to play the game correctly. Each team should be equivalent to about 6-8 players with about two supporters, two attackers, and two net defenders. The supporters and the attackers try to go through the opponent's defense in order to score a shot. This sport is very entertaining to watch and very exciting to play either when you are alone or with a group.

The purpose of performing basketball was to understand the main points and rules of the game and then apply them to a game. Basketball in particular is a sport that requires keen concentration and focus, and if you lack that, you mess it up for the whole team.

While we were playing basketball I learned how to properly dribble a ball while running, which is important in an actual game because you could a dribbling mistake while running causing you to fall. Another important concept was to understand what traveling is and how your steps and moves need to be carefully thought out before you actually preform them. Teamwork is also important because without it the team cannot function.

I could have learned differently if paid more attention to the rules and concepts of the game rather than just playing it according to my head. It was always hard for me tell where the positions of the players should usually be, which caused confused for me so I could have learned differently by understanding where each player is supposed to and what that player does for the team.

This does not relate to my goals.
