Quarter Two

Also in Quarter Two we learned a very important Chapter, Chapter 4. Chapter four's main points are:
  • Tell how much you like or dislike something
  • Exchange Information
  • and Make, accept, and turn down suggestions
The first thing you start to learn is using the verbs Faire (to play) and Jouer (to do) and you learn vocabulary words using those 2 verbs such as To play Soccer, To play American Football, To play a video, and so on. After that on page 114 you learn how to say if you dislike something or like something or if you and the person you are talking to likes or dislikes something like you do. The next page page 116 talks describes verb Faire and asking people what sports they play, and what they do when they want to have fun. On the next page you learn about the weather conditions such as it's beautiful weather, it's hot, cold, cool, raining, and finally snowing.

Then we learned the 12 months of the year from January-December, and then we learned the seasons of the year in the two pages that follow. In the 3rd section of Chapter 4 the last thing we learned in chapter 4 was making, accepting, and turning down suggestions.

Chapter 4 taught me a lot of things about what to ask people when they want to play a sport and know how to commonly say a date in a year or a month and share favorite sport activities in French.
